The examples below show ways how DCC can be used to validate signatures (using different checksums and different PDF files). A validating agent will check all validating signature(s) and return a True if all signatures are valid, False otherwise. The signature validation API uses an optional checksum parameter to detect differences in an PDF document's checksums. The examples in this section demonstrate several of the capabilities of DCC: to validate signatures, to verify signatures (with different checksums) and to verify PDF files with different digital signatures. It can also be used to confirm if a document is signed as is (in pdf_signature_check() and verify_counters()).
